Bead Embroidery 1 - finished!!

Well, I've finally finished my first attempt at bead embroidery although I have no idea what to use it for or what to do with it now LOL!!

The photos didn't come out as well as I hoped as the colours aren't true.

Still no papercrafting to share but I'm hopeful I may do some soon. The boys are now both back in school but Jess isn't having been off sick for the past 6 weeks and is, for the moment, being home educated until such time that her condition improves and she can return. We're hoping that this is sooner rather than later!!

Anyway here's an updated pic of my bead embroidery. I was totally inspired by the gorgeous work of Robin Atkins who has made some amazing pieces!

   

Work in Progress - Bead Embroidery 1

I thought I'd share a Work in Progress that was started a few weeks ago as it is something I can pick up and do quickly while not taking up much room.

The entire piece will be approx 6" x 4" and isn't planned - I'm just going with the flow and using up some of the many seed beads I have!! It's also the first time I've attempted any bead embroidery.
