Pockets - July 1st 2012

It's funny that having looked at all the different Project Life page protectors I thought the ones with the 4 6"x 6" squares would be the most difficult to use. Not only did I manage to use one but I got away with only using 4 sheets of My Mind's Eye papers having scrapped on both sides of the sheets. Here is the reverse side of the previous pages:

Materials used: My Mind's Eye papers, PL 5th and Frolic cards, Bo Bunny sticker, Autumn Leaves sticker, Prima alphabet stickers, Sticko stickers, Staedtler fineliner pen.

Pockets - 2nd June 2012

Another pocket page to share - this one with photos from 2nd June 2012 when we first went on a walk that meant crossing three sets of stepping stones, not once but twice. I loathe stepping stones as my balance is useless so I ended up just wading through the water instead LOL!

Neil thought it would be a great idea to carry Jess across and then leave her sat on one of the rocks in the middle of the water, bless her!!

Materials used: various PL cards, Chatterbox alphabet stickers, KI Memories quote, Making Memories tiny alphabet stickers, Authentique printed die-cut, K & Co paper, My Mind's Eye sticker, My Mind's Eye transparent card, Scenic Route paper, Pebbles Inc rub-on, Kaisercraft rhinestones.

Trying something new .........

Eeek!!! It's over 2 months since I last posted on here, due to the Winter Olympics, World Cup skiing on the tv, Indian Wells tennis, Davis Cup tennis and much more!

I've decided to try and take a new direction with my scrapbooking which will hopefully allow me to accomplish more. I've seen the Project Life scrapbooking but don't want to do it as a weekly thing so I'm just using the pocket pages and cards to scrap.

Now I've finished a double layout and just need to work out the best way to photograph it:

I'm hoping that I'll get used to working like this as I have about 2 years worth of photos to get through!!!

3 Best Friends

So yesterday I actually scrapped but I had to wait until there was good enough light today before i could photograph it.

I've used a ton of older stash on this and found loads of stuff I forgot I had (while rummaging through drawers)!

Materials used: American Crafts cardstock, My Mind's Eye papers, Papermania die-cut paper, K & Co Serendipity die-cuts, K & Co Mira die-cuts, American Crafts rub-ons, Webster's Pages washi tape, white Posca pen.

I'm now having fun colouring an old Prima Paintables sheet of paper that I've had for years ready for my next layout which will hopefully be finished in the next few days.
