Missed me?!

OK, so loads has happened since the last time I blogged and there's certainly lots going on out there in the world at the moment so now seems as good a time as any to start blogging again!!

This is the first time I used my Arteza Everblend pens with Pan Pastels for the background.

It's been a long time since I last blogged - nearly 4 months! I've taken a slight colouring break for a variety of reasons but finally finished a colouring I started a while ago. 

This double spread is from Marcos Chin's "Fairies in Wonderland":

I used Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils, Prismacolor pencils and Pan Pastels.

Platypus - from Millie Marotta's Curious Creatures

Well, this week has been half-term for the kids and we've had family visiting so I haven't done much colouring but I did manage to finish this platypus from Millie Marotta's Curious Creatures last night.

This was completed using Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils and a white Faber Castell Pitt big brush pen.

This latest colouring from Marcos Chin's "Fairies in Wonderland" has been on my desk for quite a while but is now finally finished.

I used a gold gel pen from Amazon, Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils and Pan Pastels.

2017 already?!?!

Well, I'm finally back following the Christmas holidays, a change in laptops and therefore a change in photo-editing software.

Here's a colouring I completed just before Christmas from the Good Wives and Warriors book - Escape to Christmas Past.

This was done with Prismacolor pencils and a couple of metallic gel pens:

Peace and Calm colouring - Birds

I had Jess home poorly for a day last week so we spent a quiet day colouring and watching Disney films. We both have a copy of the Peace and Calm colouring book so chose to colour the same picture in our books.

Magical Jungle - Purple flowers

I finally finished this one from Johanna Basford's Magical Jungle bookyesterday after it's been on my desk for a while.

The black background was done using a Stabilo 68 pen and the colouring with Prismacolor pencils:

Fairies in Dreamland - Page 9

Not too sure about this one - I tried something different with the background but I don't think it worked.

I've been after the Fairies in Dreamland colouring book by Denyse Klette for a while and finally got my hands on it a few weeks ago.

This is the first page I've coloured, done using Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils and Marco Renoir pencils with a few gel pens.

I didn't have a clue what to colour next so this was chosen for me by Jess. These are the cowfish from Millie Marotta's Curious Creatures book.

I used Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils for the fish and seaweed and Marco Renoir pencils for the background:

I didn't realise I hadn't blogged this colouring from Deb Strain's Chalk Style Good Times book.

This was completed using a few Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils and some lovely gel pens from Amazon.

Magical Jungle - Name page

This was done entirely with Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils with the addition of some alphabet stickers (left over from my scrapbooking days) for my name:

Here's my first colouring from Johanna Basford's new "Magical Jungle" book which I think may be my new favorite of her's.

  

I love the fact there's not so much "fiddly" colouring and details as there are in Lost Ocean - a lot better for my eyes!!

I used Caran D'Ache Luminance pencils, Caran D'Ache Pablo pencils and Prismacolor pencils. I also used a Conte a Paris pastel pencil.

School summer holidays and the Olympics.......

School summer holidays and the Olympics doesn't leave much time for colouring but I have managed to complete one page from Eleri Fowler's book Joyous Blooms to Colour.
