I also used my birthday money to buy myself a Samsung S1070 camera - 10 megapixels, but I haven't used it yet as I'm waiting for my SD cards to arrive. Did I mention that the camera is pink??!!!

Feeling better!

Still got a bunged-up nose and hacking cough but I'm better than I was!

I had a lovely birthday, spent most of it walking around town with Mum doing some Christmas shopping and having a look at laptops! Did I mention that Mum and step-Dad (GB) have offered to buy me a laptop as a birthday/Christmas pressie? Woo-hoo!!! I was going to put my birthday and Christmas money towards one but will now look for a compact digital camera for myself instead as our Panasonic FZ8 is a fab camera but just not handbag or pocket-sized!

I had some gorgeous cards and flowers and a lovely birthday cake - the same make of chocolate cake that we had for both Matthew and Jamie's birthdays.

I felt a bit more like creating yesterday so here's the LO I made:

I used: Papermill white card, Quickutz Blossom alphabet die-cuts, Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet die-cuts, Prima ribbon, Collage Press journalling stamps, Colorbox chalk ink, Marvy pen, American Crafts rub-ons, My Mind's Eye rub-on, Scrapworks alphabet rub-ons, Prima flowers, vintage button, Dress me up button, HOTP and Papermania brads, Stickles.

Pretty....

"Jess wore her pretty green dress and her new shoes to go out in the garden and how pretty she looked! I have to admit that after having two boys to dress it makes a lovely change to be able to choose pretty clothes for a girl! I just hope that she'll always like wearing pretty things." Cutey or cutie?!

Well, I finished this LO last night but the more I look at it the more it looks wrong - I had to spell "cutey" with a "y" due to the amount of rub-on letters I had but it doesn't look right to me!

I used: My Mind's Eye papers, lace from The Ribbonrie, Making Memories tiny alphabet stickers, Creative Imaginations Karen Russell alphabet rub-ons, flourish rub-ons, chipboard sticker and epoxy sticker, K&Co stickers, Prima and unknown flowers, vintage buttons, beads and sequins.
