My gorgeous girl!

I can't believe how quickly Jess is growing! She's starting to lose all her baby chubbiness and her face is thinning out. At the same time her hair is now growing quite quickly but tends to stick out so today I went out and bought some hair-grips to hold it down a bit!

Card a day 12/06/08

The card-a-day challenge for June 12th was to make a card using black and white elements:

This is another 3" x 3" card.

I used: Bazzill Doodlebug cardstock, Inkadinkado Birds Galore stamp, black Versafine ink, black Doodlebug flock, black and white Signo pens, Studio G sentiment stamp.

The "card-a-day" challenge for 11/06/08 on Card Paper Scissors was to amke a card using stamps:

Unfortunately I couldn't use the camera and the scan has come out terribly!

Card a day 10/06/08

Still playing catch-up! The "card-a-day" challenge for 10th June on Card Paper Scissors was to incorporate stripes on a card. As I'm trying to catch up I kept this simple - the card only measures 3" x 3"!

Jamie's sports day

So this afternoon it was Jamie's turn for school sports day and luckily the rain held off again! Jamie did really well especially at shooting basketball hoops and the skipping race!

Matthew's sports day

Today was Matthew's sports day at school and for the first time parents were actually allowed to go and watch!! He did really well and seemeed to enjoy himself and Jess loved being able to walk around - it was the first time she'd actually walked on grass in bare feet!

Hybrid cards

Today is the release day for Kate's new stuff as part of the B.Y.O.C. at The Lilypad. I managed to come up with these cards (very quickly, last night but am hoping to get some more done over the weekend:

I used: Fish by Kate, DCWV cardstock, scrap card, tissue paper and vellum, black gel pen and some rhinestones.

I used: Poppies by Kate, DCWV cardstock, black Impress ink and All NIght Media stamp.

I can't believe it's June already - where has the time gone?!? Today's "card-a-day" challenge at Card Paper Scissors was to make a card using any type of flowery item so it could have been patterned paper, chipboard, Prima flowers, stamped flowers etc.
