12 Tags of Christmas - {day 2}

Here's my tag for {day 2}: As with the {day 1} tag I've changed the colours and other bits. I used old paper, peeled paint, broken china and weathered wood distress paints for the background. I had the frame stamp that Tim used but used another of his stamps "love" in the centre rather than the Season's Greetings one he used. The flourish stamps are Fancy Pants again. I don't have any perfect pearls so I used a Zig paint pen in opaque white to flick across the tag.

The metal corners were a metallic sticker that I've had for ages. It was originally square so I cut it in half and took a notch out of the centre of each piece then brushed alcohol ink over it to tone down the silver.

As nice as Tim's metal flower was I went for my trusty Prima flowers and added vintage glass buttons to the centres. The heart charm was coloured lightly with alcohol ink and placed there to hide a great smear of white from the pen that I dropped on it LOL!

Materials used:Papermill card, Distress inks - old paper, peeled paint, broken china, weathered wood , old paper and embossing ink. Distress embossing powder - old paper. Tim Holtz stamps - Urban grunge. Fancy Pants- So Mod stamp., black Ranger ink, Prima flowers, white Zig paint pen. Metal sticker, heart charm and ribbon all from stash.
