12 Tags of Christmas - {day 3}

Here's my tag for {day 3} and my first "proper go" at using my new alcohol inks but as I only have mostly "lights" my tag ended up being pastel and non-Christmassy colours:

Well, as I said, all the alcohol inks were lights so I followed a pastel theme. Instead of using a white tag and using black soot distress ink on the edge I just cut a black tag. The stamps (both the flourish and Santa) are Fancy Pants.Instead of twine I wrapped some pink craft cord around my tag and then attached some metal words that I tinted with alcohol ink. Instead of the rivets I used vintage glass buttons.

Materials used: Papermill card, glossy white card, alcohol inks, Fancy Pants Blissful Season stamps, black Versafine ink, Making Memories metal eyelet words, pink craft cord, vintage glass buttons, Autumn Leaves ribbon.

Love that hint of flourish coming into the tag Jo and the Father Christmas is gorgeous. I reckon it's good to do your own take on the tags rather than slavishly following. xxx
