Friday we made the mistake of going to the local DIY store to buy paint for the boys' bedroom. It took us longer to get out of the car-park than it did to pick up the paint, rollers, filler and everything else we needed with the amount of people that were in there!
Saturday we went to Taunton so the OH could visit some tropical fish shops. Well, we went in 5 of them and then I checked out the 2 craft shops and bought a few pieces including another Crafty Individuals stamp. Then we went to McDonalds for lunch but had to sit in the car and eat it as there was no seating anywhere. Then we came back home.
Sunday we started painting 2 of the walls in the boys room in a lovely turquoise colour. The paint didn't cover too well so we had to do a second coat.
Monday we painted the other 2 walls in what we thought was a gorgeous red, but it was absolutely terrible and the walls looked really bad until we gave them a second then a third coat! We then started putting together the new high-sleeper bed to go in there but OH needs to adapt a few bits on it so it'll fit in the room properly.
Today I've been grocery shopping with all 3 kids in tow and then this afternoon I've been in to town to buy the boys 2 more duvet covers each to replace the ones they've had since they were toddlers!
Tomorrow we have one of Matthew's friends coming over for the day then on Thursday we have one of Jamie's friends coming!!
Busy, busy, busy!!!!
