I made a couple of bookmarks this week to show on the Make the Day Special blog using stamps from the Make the Day Special shop.
The first uses stamps from the Unity August store kit - Learning {year by year). I stamped the tape measure stamp a few times on to the bookmark using brown ink. I then used various coloured inks to stamp the stars and then cut them out and stuck them on. The last step was to add the printed twill.
Materials used: Kraft recycled cardstock, Memento inks, Unity stamps (as above).
Also used: printed twills and staples.
The second bookmark uses stamps from Unity's One Precious Life set. I used distress inks around the edge of the bookmark and then stamped the sentiment using brown Memento ink. I then used Versamark to stamp the floral corners. The last step was to add the ribbon and a handmade tassel made using embroidery stranded cotton.
Materials used: Kraft recycled cardstock, Ranger distress inks, brown Memento ink, Unity stamps (as above), Versamark ink.
Also used: ribbon, stranded embroidery cotton.
