Growing in Unity - Day 4 + giveaway

Welcome to Day 4 of my Growing in Unity week.

Today my project is a bag that I decorated. It was a plain cotton bag that now looks like this:. (Apologies for the creases as I had to take the picture before the light faded!!)

I started by spraying some green Glimmer Mist in one corner of the bag and left it to dry.
I then stamped the flower image from the June 2010 store kit using Versacraft fabric ink. The image was then coloured with Promarkers before being backstitched in stranded cotton. Beads were then added to the flower centre.
As a finishing touch I added a length of wide ric-rac to the bottom of the bag.

Materials used: cotton bag, Glimmer Mist,  Unity stamp, Versacraft ink, Promarkers, stranded cotton, beads, ric-rac.

As per my other posts don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win stamps at the end of the week.

If you fancy winning this bag then leave a comment on this post before 11.59pm Sunday 15th and I'll draw a random winner on Monday.
