Growing in Unity

Today is the beginning of my Growing in Unity week!!!

For those of you who don't know this is when a Unity fan showcases projects made with Unity stamps for the 5 days Monday - Friday on their blog.....this week it's me.... woo-hoo!!!

Make sure to leave a comment each day as each comment will be entered in to a draw and the lucky winner will receive some fabulous stamps from Angela at Unity.
I may be having the odd giveaway too!!

My first thing to show you this week is this altered clipboard which I'm hanging above my desk and sticking my "to do" notes on.
I bought a plain chipboard bingo board for £1 and decorated it.

I started by completely covering the chipboard using a thick black permanent pen.
The images from Just Be You and One Precious Life were then stamped and embossed with either white or green embossing powder.
I then added the lace, flowers and beading and tied ribbons on.

Materials used: bingo clipboard, Unity stamps from the One Precious Life set and Just Be You, Essential Glue pad, Wild Orchid crafts paper roses, Making Memories ribbons.
Also used: green and white embossing powders, cotton lace, pom pom trim, beaded string, ribbons.

Thanks for visiting today and don't forget those comments!! Come back tomorrow to see another Unity project!

Oh! this is just too sweet!! :) I simply adore it! I wish I could find these clipboards in Canada, but I've never seen anything like it. The stamp is perfect for this...and what a great idea to colour it in with a felt!
