Christmas cards and school!

Jess started nursery on Monday.....3 hours a morning every weekday and is absolutely loving it which is great news! Unfortunately though if she wakes up in the morning with a temperature like the one she had this afternoon then she won't be going!
I took Jamie to a school open evening this evening and although it was supposed to be from 6.30 until 8.30 we didn't get out 'til just after 9.15 and home at 9.30 so a bit of a long day. I think though that we've now visited the 3 schools that will be going on the application form for next September so hopefully no more visits. We're just waiting to see how well he did in his mock 11+ exam last week and whether he'll be taking the real one in January.

I've made a few Christmas cards using some Papermania chipboard shapes I bought on Monday:

Materials used: Kraft recycled cardstock, Dovecraft papers, Papermania chipboard, Studio G sentiment stamp, Creative Beginnings embossing powder, Zig chalk writer, Ranger silver pen, Kaisercraft rhinestone and ribbon from garden centre.
