My Granda, my Hero

No, I didn't lose the "D" from  the end of "Grandad" - my grandfather was always "Granda" to me although all his other granchildren called him Grandad. He was my hero and would have been 91 next week. He always used to call me "my beauty" and he was "my beast".......I still miss him.

I love this photo of him....Mum thinks it was taken in about 1941, the year before he married Grandma and he'd have been 21/22 and qualified as a dentist in the British Army.

Materials used: Bazzill cardstock, Cosmo Cricket Early Bird papers, MAMBI alphabet stickers, K & Co metal frame, Letraset dry transfer lettering, Ranger distress inks.
Also used: cotton lace, vintage glass button.
