The Play Date Cafe - PDCC86 and CAS-ual Fridays #7

Another card to share - this one is for The Play Date Cafe #86

I used a cardstock frame as a mask to add inks to my card (which I made from a thick watercolour paper). I added the bird rub-on sentiment and then doodled around the colour blocked squares before adding a border. I then added rhinestones to match the inks.

Materials used: watercolour paper, Basic Grey rub-on, Versamagic ink, Dauber Duo ink, Memento ink, Hobby House and Kaisercraft rub-ons, black Sakura pen.

I'm so fascinated by the softness of those squares. A great unique looking card. Thank you so much for joining us at The Play Date Cafe this week.

I love that bird rub on! It's got an old time feel to it. It looks neat with those squares of color, blending modern and vintage. THanks for playing with us at The Play Date Cafe!
