The Play Data Cafe #116 and Happy Daze challenges

After not taking part in any challenges for a while I've made a card which covers 2 challenges - first of all the Play Date Cafe challenge #116 to use the following colours:

and also the current challenge for the month on the Happy Daze blog which is to "try something new for the new year".
My "new" is the stamp which is from a Paperbag Studios stamp sheet that I bought from Happy Daze.

I stamped the image on pale ivory card and then used Prismacolor pencils and Sansodor to colour it.

Materials used: Papermania cardstock, DCWV papers, Paperbag Studios stamp, black Archival ink, Prismacolor pencils, lace, beaded embellishment.

This is just beautiful, Jo! I had the opportunity, this weekend, to play with those Prismacolor Pencils for the first time and was totally in love! I just put them on my must-have list. Thanks so much for joining us this week at The Play Date Cafe!

Great card. I love how you've done the stitching and ageing of the papers, it's an area I need to learn, you should do a tutorial! Thanks so much for joining us over at The Play Date Cafe!
