Cherish Your Dreams - Ippity Challenge

On the {ippity} blog is a new challenge to create "anything but a card" so I've made an 8" x 8" layout using stamps from the set "Cherish Your Dreams".

I stamped the corner flourish a couple of times on to lightly patterned paper and layered them using foam pads. I also stamped the oval frame stamp on to the same paper and then stamped the "happy" stamp using black ink in the centre.

Materials used: DCWV cardstock, Prima paper, {ippity} stamps, Versamagic ink, black Versafine ink, Prima flowers and centres, Fancy Pants rub-on, gel pen, buttons.

Growing in Unity - Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of my "Growing in Unity" week.

Today my project is for the latest Unity Addicts Challenge which can be found in the Unity forum on SCS. The challenge this week is to make a diaper fold card as demonstrated by Beate here.

I used a sheet of 12" by 12" GCD Studios double-sided Artsy Urban paper to make the pouch and then decorated it with pompom trim, Artsy Urban transparencies, Prima bling and a Queen & Co brad.

I then made a set of 4 notecards to go in it:

I made each notecard 4.5" x 4.5" square and added a panel of the Artsy Urban paper with sewn edges. I then stamped a sentiment on to white card and then used Distress inks around the edges.
I stamped 2 birds from the Melody Ross set and cut them out before sticking them to the red and blue cards.
For the multicolour card I used Promarkers to colour in the sentiment.

Materials used: Papermill white linen cardstock, GCD Studios Artsy Urban papers and transparencies, black Memento ink, Promarkers, Ranger Distress inks, Prima crystals, Queen & Co brad, black Sakura pen.
Also used: pompom trim

Unity stamps used: "May you live..." from March 09 KOTM - Simple Life
"Just Be You" from the Scrapbook Royalty set - Just Be You
"It's not the Years..." from May 2010 Store kit - Moments in Bloom
"There comes a point..." from the {ippity} set - Delightful Little Things

Thanks for visiting me and if you missed yesterday's post, leave a comment as there's a goody bag up for grabs.
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for Day 4 of my Growing in Unity week when I'll be having another giveaway!!!

H{ippity} Hop Monday - HHSC14

I still only have the one {ippity} stamp set so far  - Delightful Little Things - but I love it as it is so versatile.

Materials used: Papermill cardstock, DCWV Citrus Stack papers, {ippity} stamp, Brilliance red-gold ink, Bazzill ruffled gingham ribbon, blue and red gel pens.
Also used: spotty ribbon, satin ribbon and organza ribbon and rhinestones.
