The Shabby Tea Room - week #19 and W.O.C Week 1

I don't usually combine challenges in my cards but I'll make an exception today LOL! This card is for this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room - From the Garden which is to use this photo as colour inspiration:

and also for the Week 1 challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge. I only came across the blog today but it looks like it's going to be fab and Wild Orchid sell the most gorgeous flowers. All the roses on my card came from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I'm also entering it in this week's challenge at Papertake Weekly - In The Garden!!

Materials used: Bazzill cardstock, Melody Ross Artsy Urban papers, transparent photo corners and journalling sticker, vintage image from Lisa's Altered Art, paper roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Also used: cotton lace and pompom trim.

Papertake Weekly - Shiny, Sparkly and Special

This week at Papertake Weekly the challenge is to make something shiny, sparkly and special. It's being sponsored by Emily at Make The Day Special and the lucky winner could take home these fabulous Ippity stamps:

I decided to use the fab tree stamp from Unity's March Stampin' Store kit again - (you can find the kit here at Make The Day Special. The image was stamped using the Essential Glue Pad and then covered with Lakeland glitter. I used some more of those card blanks I made using all my scrap and leftovers. They measure 3.5" by 5.5":

Materials used: Bazzill and Papermill cardstock, Unity tree stamp (details above), Essential Glue Pad, Lakeland glitter, Kaisercraft and Prima rhinestones, American Crafts rub-ons, Creative Cafe rub-ons, Ranger copper and silver accent pens, various lace and ribbons.
