The Play Date Cafe - PDCC58

The colours at The Play Date Cafe this week are red and white:

I decided to go for a total non-Christmassy card for this one although the colours are, of course, screaming to be made in to a Christmas card LOL!

The background white cardstock was embossed with one of the Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folders. The sentiment is a Unity stamp and the butterflies are Joy Crafts dies. The organza flower was handmade using a tea-light and careful heating.

Materials used: Paperchase card blank, Papermill white linen cardstock, TimHoltz for Sizzix embossing folder, Unity stamp from Quote Bundle Pack, Memento red ink, Joy Crafts butterfly dies, Papermania adhesive pearls, Wild Orchid crafts paper rose.
Also used: beaded string (from Christmas garland), organza, vintage glass button, silk leaf, beaded stamen.

(The Unity stamp used is available in the UK here at Make The day Special)

Oh Jo, I love this card.........your flower is beautiful. I've not seen one like that before. I would say I'd have a go, but I dread to think what I'd set alight!..........S xx
