Caught unaware

Here's a 12 x 12 layout that's been "on the go" for about the past 3 weeks LOL!! I challenged myself to try and steer clear of straight lines for this one and used some gorgeous My Mind's Eye papers:

Materials used: My Mind's Eye papers, HOTP flower template, Prima flowers and centres, Heidi Grace plastic heart, Craft Robo title, button and printed twill.

Vintage buttons and pearl and flower embellishment from stash.

Walk in the woods

When I bought some of the gorgeous new Prima papers I had no idea what I was going to use them for, I just knew that I loved them! I usually shy away from papers with a large bold design on them preferring to go for papers with tiny detailed designs on them (think KI Memories and DCWV). This is my first ever layout using Prima paper (although I've been a fan of Prima flowers for ages) and I hope it's OK! Materials used: Prima paper and flowers, Basic Grey die-cut doily (upside-down), Magic Scraps Coastal Netting (how old is this?!), Prima say it in pearls flower centres, Elusive Images butterly stamp, Promarkers, black Memento ink, black Sakura pen. Vintage lace, glass button, pins and rhinestone from stash. Title cut on Craft Robo - fonts are Pointedly Mad and Garamond.

A Craft Robo title, woo-hoo!! Expect to see a lot more of these as I need to keep practicing LOL! Rhinestones from stash.

At The Gables

Another LO that's taken a week, on and off, to complete! This picture shows my great grandparents at the door of their house "The Gables". My Granda Clarke (Mum's paternal grandfather) died before I was born but my Grandma Clarke lived til I was about 5. I can just about remember my great Grandma - I called her Grandma with the gammy leg as she walked with a limp. I'd love to have more memories of her but don't. I used: K & Co papers, Craft Robo title (Bickham Script ProRegular font), Ranger crackle accents, lace, Prima ribbon, Prima flower, vintage button, MAMBI thread label, pin.

Reading

With feeling "yucky" this week this LO has taken about 10 days to finish LOL and it's not exactly a work of art but it is my first welded title cut with my Craft Robo!: I used: American Crafts cardstock, DCWV cardstock, Heidi Grace paper, Fiskars border punch, Mr & Mrs Popsicle font, Green Tara and Prima flowers, vintage button, Anna Griffin rub-on, white Signo pen, Daisy D's metal bookplate, Marvy pen.

First LO of the month

I can't believe that I haven't made a single LO this month up until now!! In my defence we did go away last weekend to stay with OH's sister and her family and attend a huge family party. We had a fab time but I do wish we lived a lot closer! Anyway, here's the layout. I got to use my new Craft Robo to cut the title! I used: Bazzill cardstock, KI Memories paper, Maya Rd sheer ribbon, American Crafts ribbon, Magistical Memories chipboards, black permanent pen, clear rhinestones, black card, Arial font, CraftWork brad, Creative Imaginations rub-on, Deluxe Designs chalk.
